"I first hired Scott after I injured my Achilles many years ago. Since then he has been our family's physical therapist. His kindness, personal attention and straightforward advise has brought our family through a variety of mishaps and accidents to keep us moving and active.
Thank you, Scott! We will always be grateful for the dedication you show to your craft and patients.

"My short story is that I fell down and broke my ankle. After a couple of surgeries and PT in between I was no better off. I was at the end of my rope as I could barely walk let alone get back to a "normal" life. I was referred to Scott Plank by a new doctor that I went to for a second opinion. I have to say that SCOTT CHANGED MY LIFE!. After two sessions I started to get more mobility and my pain was drastically reduced, more importantly my outlook on my recover totally changed! It has been 18 months since I initially started going to Scott and I am pain free and back to doing the things I used to. I recently had my rotator cuff repaired and I am seeing Scott for that injury. I trust him implicitly, three months in I am doing excellent. I would highly recommend Scott and his staff at City Sports. He spends time with you, takes a deep interest in your overall wellbeing and really makes a difference in your recovery and your life."

"I have been receiving physical therapy treatments at this facility for the last 9 years for various reasons and I highly recommend it. Initially in 2011, I was referred to Scott Plank at this facility for frozen shoulder syndrome on my left shoulder. After receiving physical therapy treatments from Scott for about four weeks, the shoulder pain went away and I gained my full range of motion back. In 2012, I came back to this facility and was treated for my left hip surgery and I recovered after receiving physical therapy treatments from Scott. In 2018, I was treated for my right shoulder for frozen shoulder at this facility with Scott and recovered from that. Recently, I went back to Scott to be treated after my right hip replacement surgery for about five weeks. At the end of five weeks, I went off of my pain medication and recovered from the surgery. With Scottââ¬â¢s professional physical therapy treatments and friendly advice, I have recovered fully throughout the years. I highly recommend Scott Plank at this facility if you want a professional physical therapist."

“Two years ago I broke my arm/shoulder (the bottom of the ball of the humerus) falling off my bike in a triathlon. I had to have major surgery and the doctor wasn’t sure if I’d ever regain enough range of motion to swim again. He sent me to Scott Plank to begin PT three weeks after the surgery. Scott is very knowledgeable and professional and will provide as much information as you would like on the exercises that he gives you each step of the way. He has a very gentle manner but, at the same time, will push you as far as necessary and appropriate to make the necessary gains (and, yes, some pain is necessary for the gains). Long story short, I was swimming laps again by ten weeks after the surgery. I had PT for six months, the last few months being spent recovering the last few degrees of range. I made a 100% recovery and went on to take first place in my age division in my next tri, the following year.”

“In July of 2009 I suffered a serious injury to my right foot, a ‘blow-out fracture’ of the calcaneus – the heel bone. At the time, I had no idea how bad it was, but found out quickly from my doctor that there were multiple fractures and significant displacement. Prognosis was an absolute minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years for healing and recovery. 3-1/2 hours of reconstructive surgery including a plate and 8 screws, was followed by 12 weeks of being on my back with the foot elevated to manage swelling. Then it was crutches, casts, immobilization boot – all before I could even start physical therapy. My doctor, who also treats the SF Giants and the 49ers, recommended Scott for my physical therapy. 13 months later, I’ve had more than enough time to evaluate him. Scott is extremely knowledgeable, capable, caring and careful. I have defied the odds, and am walking without a limp, jogging, biking and hiking again – as close to 100% as I could have hoped for, and best of all, I’m pain free. No way would this good a recovery have happened, and happened so quickly, if it hadn’t been for Scott’s treatments. I remain thankful to him every day.”

“I started in physical therapy with Scott Plank at City Sport, about a year and a half ago. Scott was recommended to me by my husband and father-in-law who had previously received physical therapy at City Sport. My therapy began after I had surgery to repair a complete tear of my left rotator cuff. My surgeon and primary physician consistently told me I must have a great physical therapist since I regained my range of motion and my strength much quicker than they expected. For this reason I chose to return to City Sport again following surgery for a meniscus tear. City Sport is not a part of my HMO but I felt it was worth going outside my provider network to make sure I had the best treatment. I would recommend Scott Plank at City Sport because he knows how to work with the body to get previous functioning restored and in my case allow me to be stronger than before the injury.”

“This place is the best. I injured my Achilles tendon and suffered with it for about a year and then went to Scott at City Sport. He not only has been rehabbing the Achilles but has taken a whole person approach. He has strengthened my core to help with my bad back. I have been able to begin hiking again and my back issues have almost vanished. Scott is a very knowledgeable, professional and interested in you as a person. He has helped me get my life back. What more can I say?”

“My back specialist diagnosed me with a slightly bulging disc and recommended PT. Scott had treated two of my co-workers with excellent results so I had complete confidence in his abilities and professionalism. He insisted that not only would he help me become pain free again, he would teach me exercises that I could do for the rest of my life so I would need ongoing physical therapy. He was right, I have no pain now and because of his expertise and encouragement, I have the knowledge and confidence to build on what he taught me and am back enjoying the outdoors again. Thanks Scott!”

“As a High School and College Football Coach of 21 years, I have seen many sports-related injuries, throughout my tenure. When I experienced my second and third shoulder surgeries in 2008 and 2009, I was concerned about my future and how could I possibly fully recover given the severity of my injuries. There were numerous complications and I was extremely discouraged with the Dr.’s prognosis.
For my rehabilitation, I chose Scott Plank (City Sport Physical Therapy) based on his: reputation, integrity and quality of results. From the first day, I was impressed with his knowledge of my injuries and his experience. He articulated a plan that was goal-oriented and results-driven given my limited range of motion and lack of strength. I was extremely impressed with his diligence, and approaches towards problem-solving which resulted in an amazing recovery. Today, I am at my best because of Scott and I am forever grateful.”
